My client are a leading Accountancy Firm based in St Albans and are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join the team ASAP. This is a fantastic company that would consider providing progression and study support moving forward, if this would be something which you are considering. This is a permanent role and it requires someone who can start immediately. You must have experience working within an Accountancy Practice or Payroll Bureau.

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing month, fortnightly and quarterly payroll
  • Deal with queries in a timely manner
  • Liaise directly with clients
  • End of year compliance including P35's/P60's
  • Completing regular checks of statutory information

Experience required:

  • Experience working in an Accountancy Practice
  • Knowledge of statutory payments and salary sacrifice
  • Good knowledge of Payroll software, STAR is highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Must be accurate and have strong attention to detail
