The Role
My client, an award winning landlord insurance company, is looking to recruit an Insurance Sales Advisor to manage and develop the Property Account. They have been providing comprehensive cover for landlords since 1996.
As an Insurance Sales Advisor you will play a key role in acquiring new business to continue growth. This role is telephone based, located at our offices in Borehamwood.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
To maintain and enhance existing / new client relationships ensuring that the premium income contributes to the achievement of your own and the departmental financial targets, tasks include but are not limited to:
Providing Quotations & Securing New Business
Securing Policy Renewals
Processing Mid Term adjustments
Cross Sell other HFIS Insurance products
Processing & Maintaining Client/Departmental Emails (Mailboxes)
Maintaining Diary systems
To actively acquire new Client relationships which will contribute to the achievement of your own and the department's financial targets.
To actively develop and maintain professional relationships with Insurer partners, affiliates and other appropriate third parties
To ensure that all documentation issued and actions taken fall within the agreed service standards and FCA regulations
To keep up to date with industry news and developments ensuring that your technical knowledge is kept current
To assist with the preparation of events and exhibitions and attending these where required
To ensure that all Company procedures are followed and any areas of concern are notified to the Property Team Leader
Ensure that all Company security procedures, as detailed in the Personal Information Security Policy, are followed and any areas of concern are notified to the your Department Manager

Skills and knowledge required:
Minimum 3 years insurance experience is required.
A proven sales focused approach to client relationships whilst ensuring that excellent customer service and advice is provided at all times
Progress toward Cert CII would be an advantage
An excellent level of written and spoken English and Mathematical skills with a minimum of A ? C GCSE pass (or equivalent)
Excellent inter-personal and telephone skills with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely with others
To have good organisational skills and be able to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast moving environment
Sound IT skills particularly with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to learn new systems and procedures
The ability to meet deadlines, keep promises and prioritise own workload
The ability to work within a team environment and to assist Team members where required

Hours of work will be 37.5 per week 9am ? 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
