Location: Potters Bar (EN6)

Salary: Competitive -Depending on Experience

1 year Fixed Term Contract

The HR Administrator will play an essential role in providing high standard administrative support to the HR team whilst maintaining confidentiality. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the team is fully supported by providing a proactive, comprehensive and high level service, whilst managing effective and efficient systems to enhance the professionalism and efficiency of the RO Group.

Duties of the HR Administrator:

* Manage and maintain an effective personnel record system, ensuring that filing and scanning is completed on a regular basis, so all files are kept up to date both manually and electronically and can easily be accessed by those as necessary.
* Maintaining attendance records as well as helping to ensure all absence processes are managed accordingly
* Maintaining access systems to control employee presence within Graham House and London in line with Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislative requirements and monitor working hours
* Preparing reports and collating information as required
* Preparing information for payroll purposes on a monthly basis
* Supporting the recruitment process by arranging interviews, booking rooms, maintaining a record of direct applicants and communicating with candidates as required
* Preparing information packs, including Offer Letters and Induction packs
* Assisting with the processing of new appointments and any changes to existing employment contracts.
* Ensuring an applicant's compliance and eligibility to work in the UK, where applicable
* Process and record reference checks and track disclosure, where applicable
* Organising meetings, minute taking and providing confidential administrative support where required.
* Fielding day to day enquiries on HR/payroll queries
* Providing guidance and learning support for software users as necessary
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending legislative updates; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal and professional networks; participating in professional societies
* Continuous review of management information systems, seeking ways of improving efficiency within the organisation in accordance with its goals and enhancing the reputation of the company by implementing new ideas and methods.
* Assisting with preparations for various events as required

Requirements of the HR Administrator:

* Prior experience in a similar HR function
* Knowledge and understanding of HR working processes
* You may be an associate of CIPD or graduate
* Proven administration experience within a close team environment
* Able to demonstrate a proven track record in managing systems with an emphasis on attention to detail and confidentiality
* Strong IT skills are essential, including Office 365, Outlook, Excel, Word, People HR (or similar HR management system)
* Comfortable working on your own initiative and also in a team environment
* Able to interact effectively with people at all levels with patience, tact and diplomacy
* Meticulous and methodical with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
* Dedicated with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
* Embraces challenges, learns fast and adapts well to new situations and opportunities.
